My evening routine is sacred to me. It’s the part of the day when I can finally exhale, reset, and pour a little care back into myself. Maybe you know that feeling too—you’re warm in bed, ready to unwind, and the last thing you want to do is get back up. I love collagen face masks, lotion, my heated blanket, a good book or favorite show, and sometimes doing my nails. But I noticed that if the nail file or face mask was all the way in the bathroom, I simply wasn’t getting out of bed to grab it.
So I built a little system around the way I actually live. (Still a work in progress, and I have bigger dreams down the road.) I gathered the things I use to wind down and placed it right beside my bed, within arm’s reach. Now, when I’m ready to settle in, I don’t have to interrupt the moment.
Come take a look—here’s what I keep on my bedside station right now:
- A beautiful silver tray: It anchors everything and makes the space feel intentional instead of cluttered.
- Stunning glassware and coasters: Because even staying hydrated can feel like a small, luxurious ritual.
- My self-care essentials: I keep a dedicated nail kit and a stack of my favorite collagen face masks close by.
- A junk journaling setup and fun pens: They’re right there whenever I want to capture a thought or follow a spark of inspiration.
Keeping all of this beside my bed removed the friction completely. At the end of the day, I don’t have to decide what to find or where to go. Everything is already there, quietly waiting for me—and that makes it so much easier to follow through on caring for myself.
