You don’t always have to sit down with a physical book for hours to grow. If your days are full like mine, audiobooks can be such a gift. I can listen while I’m tidying the living room, getting in my morning steps, or getting ready for the day. I’m still learning, but I don’t have to pause my whole life to do it.
Lately, I’ve been working on myself from the inside out. I’m learning to set firmer boundaries, take real ownership, and let myself be stretched by growth. I’m also practicing something that may sound simple but hasn’t always felt easy: saying what I want and what I believe. More and more, I’m asking myself, “Will this choice make me proud of who I’m becoming?” instead of, “Will this impress someone else?”
Hearing leaders, psychologists, and everyday people talk about the rejections they’ve survived has changed the way I see failure. Rejection doesn’t have to be a stop sign; sometimes it’s simply proof that you’re stretching beyond what feels safe. So if you’re ready for a mindset reset, put on your headphones while you move through your day. Let one good idea keep you company, and give it time to sink in.
Stay tuned for my personal audiobook list.
